Most of us are aware of how the economy is doing in our own local home towns. The anecdodal evidence that we see everyday tells us that things are bad and really aren't turning around at all despite what the main stream media would have us believe. We see the long term layoffs, lack of job openings and business closings and there is no mistaking the obvious signs of a slow collapse of the American way of life. Despite the 6.5% stock market rally over the last three months, a handful of billionaires are quietly dumping their American stocks . . . and fast.
Warren Buffett, who has been a cheerleader for U.S. stocks for quite some time, is dumping shares at an alarming rate. He recently complained of “disappointing performance” in dyed-in-the-wool American companies like Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble, and Kraft Foods.
In the latest filing for Buffett’s holding company Berkshire Hathaway, Buffett has been drastically reducing his exposure to stocks that depend on consumer purchasing habits. Berkshire sold roughly 19 million shares of Johnson & Johnson, and reduced his overall stake in “consumer product stocks” by 21%. Berkshire Hathaway also sold its entire stake in California-based computer parts supplier Intel.
With 70% of the U.S. economy dependent on consumer spending, Buffett’s apparent lack of faith in these companies’ future prospects is worrisome.
Unfortunately Buffett isn’t alone.
Fellow billionaire John Paulson, who made a fortune betting on the subprime mortgage meltdown, is clearing out of U.S. stocks too. During the second quarter of the year, Paulson’s hedge fund, Paulson & Co., dumped 14 million shares of JPMorgan Chase. The fund also dumped its entire position in discount retailer Family Dollar and consumer-goods maker Sara Lee.
Finally, billionaire George Soros recently sold nearly all of his bank stocks, including shares of JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup, and Goldman Sachs. Between the three banks, Soros sold more than a million shares.

Today has been a particularly sad day because of the killings of at least 26 people at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. It is not known exactly how many children were victims but this report says the number may be as high as 18.
There will be the usual political responses to this tragedy and it will be the old tired argument about gun control. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to guess what the President and other officials will say in the wake of such carnage. But make no mistake about it, this sad episode in human behavior is not about guns but about our hearts. The Bible makes a very intuitive observation about the real personality inside all of us.

There you have it, the most intelligent comment about today's tragedy made by an Old Testament prophet centuries ago. The problem was not the availability of guns. Adam Lanza would have committed his crime with a knife, poison or a club if he didn't have a gun. Adam Lanza's problem was not about his relationship with his Mom, or his Dad, or his counselor or any other potential scapegoat. Lanza's problem was his heart. His heart was desperately wicked and the NET Bible says that his heart was "incurably bad". Of course, there will be the many in our culture who say that all of us are basically good but I would have to disagree with that statement. Most of us are not as bad as we could be but the seed of destruction is in all of us and all of us have the potential to do the most heinous crimes. That's right, "all of us".
So if we are incurably bad and desperately wicked what is the remedy? If you have been reading my blog for any length of time you know the answer...Jesus. On this sad day I urge you to trust Christ as your Savior. He will erase your sinful slate and give you a new heart and a new future.
I continue to read about bizarre occurrences of large bodies of water turning to blood red. These are not isolated events but are systematically happening all over the world. What is God trying to tell us? Perhaps He is reminding us of the blood that is on our hands as we continue unrelentingly with wars, abortions and murder. Americans seem blind to their own blood lust when they point accusing fingers at countries like Syria. We are in no position to look down on any nation. We have been roaming to and fro over the whole world "intervening" in the affairs of other countrys. We kill 1.5 million babies in the womb annually. The murder rates in our major cities is astounding. Perhaps He is warning us of our rejection of the blood of His dear Son. Christ Jesus shed his innocent blood on the cross to be payment for our sins and yet most of the world rejects His offer of pardon and redemption. These are just some of my thoughts today as I reflect on world events. Are you saved? Trust Christ right now!

The current levels of the Great Lakes are down and in some cases they are matching low levels not experienced for almost 85 years. The Great Lakes are drying up due to the extended drought conditions and the weird weather patterns that have been so prevalent since 2007.
There is so much concern about the the condition of these important water ways that this year 25 members of the Senate appealed to the Office of Management and Budget to make more money available for dredging.
Russell Dzuba is the harbor master in Leland, Michigan. He reports that there is a sand bar that extends around the entire inside of the harbor. He says that he has not seen conditions like this since he has lived in the area which is nearly 48 years. He calls the water level "drastic".
Freighters are carrying drastically less cargo as a result of these lower levels. In 1997 a typical freighter carried 71,000 tons of cargo. By 2000 the same freighter could carry only 60,000 tons and the situation is growing worse.
I drove over the Arkansas river in Hutchinson, Kansas, a couple of weeks ago and the river was about three feet wide. When I was a kid the river was a block wide. Our Earth is drying up and it is all leading to a horrible period of time called the Great Tribulation. Notice what St. John said about this time period and those who would survive it.

It is obvious from this passage that the tribulation will be a time of drought, excessive heat and severe lack of drinking water. The loss of water levels has been occurring worldwide for several years and it should be obvious to even the casual observer that we are entering deeper into a massive crisis. I probably need to do more of these little end time updates because I have a real conviction that we are indeed living in the last days. So here are a few things that have been garnering my attention in the last few days. Jamie Foxx at this year's Soul Train awards referenced President Obama as "God" and "Our Lord and Savior". Sorry Jamie, but there is one Lord and one Savior and President Obama is neither (no offense to Obama). This is an example of rank blasphemy and evidently the "fear of the Lord" is not part of Mr. Foxx's belief system. One day soon Foxx will stand before the One True God and give an account for that ridiculous statement. I wouldn't want to be in his shoes on that day!
There was another incidence of "blood red" water in Australia The famed Bondi Beach was closed to swimmers. The cause was attributed to an over growth of red algae. This may be a precursor to the blood judgements on water outlined in the book of Revelation. Do a little research and find how many times this has happened in the last 15 months or so. . The rfid "chip" technology is becoming more prevalent all around the world. I have long believed that this technology will play some role in the coming "mark of the beast". Starting this fall, all students at John Jay High School and Anson Jones Middle School, in SanAntonio, are required to carry identification cards which are embedded with a microchip. They are being tracked by the dozens of electronic readers installed in the schools’ ceiling panels. Inch by inch we are being drawn into the all seeing eye of big brother and few seem to even notice what is going on!

I'm 56 years old and a boxing fan so when I heard that Macho Camacho had been gravely wounded by a bullet four days ago I offered several prayers on his behalf. Today I found out that his family had removed him from life support and he has died. His illustrious career spanned several decades as he compiled a record of 79 wins, 6 losses and 3 draws. He knocked out 38 of his opponents while becoming world champion in three different classes - super featherweight, lightweight and junior welterweight. To become champ in so many classes and maintain excellence in boxing for such a long period of time is nearly unheard of, in fact, Macho fought his last fight in 2010 at the age of 48! Camacho was born in Puerto Rico but as a small child his mother moved him to the U.S. into a tough neighborhood in Spanish Harlem. At that time Spanish Harlem was a crime infested neighborhood and young Camacho seemed to find trouble frequently. Juan Laporte was a fellow boxer and friend. Here are some things he had to say about Hector. Former featherweight champion Juan Laporte, a friend since childhood, described Camacho as "like a little brother who was always getting into trouble," but otherwise combined a friendly nature with a powerful jab.
"He's a good human being, a good hearted person," Laporte said as he waited with other friends and members of the boxer's family outside the hospital in San Juan after the shooting. "A lot of people think of him as a cocky person but that was his motto ... inside he was just a kid looking for something." Laporte lamented that Camacho never found a mentor outside the boxing ring. "The people around him didn't have the guts or strength to lead him in the right direction," Laporte said. "There was no one strong enough to put a hand on his shoulder and tell him how to do it."(Source) I think that it's easy for most of us who have grown up in very stable homes to make judgments about the personal lives of people like Camacho. He had constant run-ins with the law and a dismal record in his personal relationships. He did many questionable things throughout his life that most sanitized Americans would never do. But I did read a small snippet about a time in his life when Hector Camacho in an interview with Dan Hernandez, Ringinsidereport.com, said that he was a "new born Christian". There are a lot of things to remember about Macho like his 3 titles, epic fights against Mancini, Chavez, Duran, Leonard and De La Hoya and his one of a kind style. But I am going to cling to the statement that he made to Dan Hernandez in an obscure interview. I am going to anticipate a future chance to meet Camacho on the streets of gold because we both trusted Christ as our Savior. I know that at this point the Pharisaical lordship salvationists will come out of the cyber woodwork and point out all the sin and failure in Camacho's life. Let the cockroaches do their best! I will point to the grace of God and the simplicity of the gospel and revel in what the Lord has done. You see, the real question now is not Macho Camacho but you Dear Reader. Have you become a newborn Christian by trusting in what Jesus did on your behalf? I'm old enough to remember sitting in front of our old black and white television watching episodes of "The Mickey Mouse Club". That is why something touched my heart when I read about the death of Bonita Fields. Bonita became a Mouseketeer when she was only 12 years old in 1957. She made the cast of the popular children's series largely because of her excellent dance and voice talent. She was known as "Bonnie" on the air.
Bonita was born in Walterboro, South Carolina. After her career in the Disney series came to an end she continued to perform live at Disneyland. She had small parts in 1960's movies such as Kissin Cousins starring Elvis Presley, Bye Bye Birdie starring Ann Margaret and Funny Girl starring Barbara Streisand. Bonita returned to take part in the Mickey Mouse Club 25th reunion and frequently appeared on Broadway.
In a small way Bonita is a part of my past as memories of her performances are buried in the folds of my mind. Her death reminds me that my own life is streaking by with lightning speed. The Scriptures capture it best when they describe our life as a "vapor" that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.
I hope that Bonita Fields knew Jesus as her Savior. I hope that you are recognizing the brevity of your own life and that you, Dear Reader, have placed your faith in Christ. The leader of the military wing of Hamas, Ahmed Jabari, was killed by an Israeli military striketoday. The strike was thought to be in retaliation for a barrage of Hamas missile launches into Israeli territories over the last several weeks. The attack on Jabari was part of a larger assault on nearly 20 targets in the Gaza. The world is teetering on the edge of a military meltdown in the middle east. General David Petraeusresigned his position as director of the CIA because of his admitted marital infidelity. Petraeus admitted to having an affair with Paula Broadwell, author of his biography All In: The Education Of General David Petraeus. I hate to see any man fall into sin and have their lives ruined as a consequence. I particularly hate to see such an important man to the security of our country be in a position where our national security could have been at risk.
Just last week a anotherunsettling storysurfaced concerning a the U.S. Navy's discovery of a Russian nuclear sub lurking 275 miles off the southern east coast of the United States. The tense standoff in the Syrian and Iranian standoffs has made our relations with Russia precarious and I'm not naive enough to believe that the unthinkable could happen to our beloved country. We are living in the most bizarre time in all of history. Calamity seems to hang in the air and most everyone senses something evil this way comes. Indeed, something evil is coming. We are living in the days leading up to the period of time the Bible calls the Great Tribulation. Two thousand years ago Jesus spoke of this time as being the worst period of events in human history.

We're are living in the most bizarre times in the history of the world. Unbelievable events are occurring in the natural, spiritual and political realms. The latest news about the U.N. officials monitoring electionsites because of concern over voter fraud here in the U.S. is further evidence that our country has lost it's sovereignty and is well down the path of being a part of the New World Order. We should have drop kicked the United Nations off of our soil decades ago. Instead, we continue to pump millions of dollars into this socialist organization and let them continue to squat on our property rent free. The U.N. has never done anything to promote lasting peace in the world but they have been very busy over the years in elevating terrorists, socialists and every religion except Christianity. It's hard to believe that the sheeple have reached such a low point as to allow these clowns to monitor election sites here in the good ol' US of A. But the Bible expressly told us that in the last days people would be operating under an evil delusion and march blindly to the day of judgment. Thankfully, there are some folks in our more conservative states that are not taking this lying down. Thank God forTexas!Officials in that state are threatening to arrest any U.N. official caught "monitoring" in a voting site in the Lone Star! I say good for them and may other states grow some gumption and do the same.
While I wish the U.N. would just decide to relocate to Russia I know that they will play an important part in God's end time plan to judge the world and set up His Son Jesus as the Ruler of the universe. God will simply use these evil doers to accomplish His will as He has done with the wicked all through history. In the meantime, I need to remain patient and confident of the final outcome. This story is just one more sign that we are heading to a one world government, one world economy and one world religion. The prophecies of the Bible are coming true before our eyes and you must make preparation by running to Christ Jesus for refuge. Believe on Christ today. Trust in what He did on the cross, His burial and His resurrection to be payment for your sins. Quickly, do it now before it's too late.
I don't know about you but I've had my fill of debates and polling results. I'll be glad when this election is over and I will not be casting a vote for four more years of the same failure we have just experienced. But I am faced with some facts that trouble me. The truth is that Romney has not really suggested how he would handle the massive debt that we have piled upon ourselves. I wrote a previous post where I tried to help you conceptualize what a trillion dollars actually represents. I said that a million seconds is 12 days, a billion seconds is 32 years and a trillion seconds is 32,000 years! I have also heard another analogy concerning a trillion. A famous business man started a business the day Jesus was born. He was very successful in this business and he made a million dollars every day. In fact, his business has made a million dollars every day since Jesus birth right up to this present moment. Do you know how many more years this business will have to make a million dollars a day in order to hit a trillion dollar total? The answer is 1,000 more years!
Neither Romney or Obama have the solution to dig us out of (by some accounts) 116 trillion dollars of debt! We owe a debt we cannot pay. The day of reckoning is on the horizon. Bernanke is printing money and throwing it out of helicopters and right now he is working at a 42 billion dollar a month pace. We will reap what we have sown. Judgement is coming! Now I want you to think about your own life. You have a debt that can't be paid. I'm not talking about your personal finances, I'm talking about your spiritual debt. The Bible says that if you have broken just one of God's laws then you have automatically broken them all.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to salute the life of Antoni Dobrowolski. Antoni died this week at the age of 108. Dobrowolski was a school teacher in Poland when the Nazi occupation of his country occurred. The Nazi's forbid public education for Poland's children so Antoni ran secret classes. He was discovered by the Gestapo and imprisoned at Auschwitz-Birkenau. Dobrowolski was later transferred to Gross Rosen and Sachsenhausen in Germany. He miraculously survived three years and was released to his freedom by Soviet and Polish forces in 1945. Antoni Dobrowolski, I salute you! It is sad that with the passing of time we scarcely mention the atrocities that occurred at the hand of Adolph Hitler and the Nazis. We have conveniently filed away the fact that six million Jews were executed and a million of those occurred at Auschwitz. Most people are of the opinion that all men are basically good but the Bible gives us some wisdom that helps us understand what happened in Poland. The Bible tells us that there are none that doeth good, no not one (Romans 3:12). There are none righteousness, not one! (Romans 3:10). The prophet Jeremiah said that men's hearts are desperately wicked and who can know the human heart? It's not hard to understand why the holocaust happened it's hard to understand why it hasn't happened more often. But if we look at history we see that similar atrocities have happened over and over again. The future will see even more outrageous violence and bloodshed as the new world order comes to fulfillment. Dear Reader, maybe it's time you did a little search on the FEMA camps being built all over this country. Maybe it's time you looked at the world through the lense of God's Word. Maybe it's time that you asked yourself tough questions about your readiness to meet God and enter into eternity. Maybe it's time to trust Jesus as Savior!
Just when you thought our world could not get any more bizarre along comes the news that Nestle Inc. is doing a promotion in the United Kingdom promoting 666 technology. That's right, I didn't stutter, Nestle is inserting an RFID chip in a Kit Kat bar and some unsuspecting Brit will eat it and be tracked down by Nestle and "awarded" a 10,000 pound check. Don't believe me? Check it out...
I believe, along with thousands of other Christians, that the RFID technology will somehow be incorporated into the implementation of the soon coming "mark of the beast". If you haven't been living under a rock then you are also aware that mandatory implantation of the RFID chip into the right hand is included in Obamacare and mention of this intrusion is conveniently buried in the middle of the nearly 2000 pages! The RFID can contain all your medical information as well as all of your financial information. They will have the ability to transfer money from a swipe of your right hand and they will be able to track you via GPS wherever you go. Is this not frighteningly similar to what we read in the 13th chapter of the book of Revelation?

This summer Russia moved more ships and 90,000 more men into Syria to bolster their position in the region and make good on their promise to support Syria at all costs if they are attacked by the U.S. or Israel. In June of this year China sent warships through the Suez presumably to Syria. Russia has been repeatedly warning us about taking military action in Syria. So today's news that the U.S. has sent 2000 specialized troops into Jordan on the border with Syria is very troubling. If you are paying close attention to the massive build up of military forces in this region then you should be alarmed at the fast approaching likelihood of WW3. Check out the following video...

Last month the wizard of Wall Street, Warren Buffet, had a big purge of his consumer stock holdings. He unloaded his entire holdings of Intel which represented 21% of the entire Intel stock totals. The American economy depends on consumer spending, 71% of our economy in fact! So what does this tell us about the short term future of the U.S. economy? You might remember that in 2009 Buffet was bullish on American stocks and went on a gigantic spending spree. He has obviously changed his tone. You can read more about his sell off here. Are we headed to a financial cliff or could something much worse await us? There are many people in high places who believe that war in the Middle East is all but a foregone conclusion. Could the Iranians or the Russians be planning an emp attack on our country which would wipe out all technology and jettison us backwards into a stone age?
You might think I'm being sensationalistic but I am just an observer, a "watcher" of the current events and signs that seem to be ushering in the end times and the return of Jesus Christ. I hope you read my earlier post about Tony Robbin's dire warning. He explained the magnitude of our national debt and why we are in a hole that we can not dig ourselves out of without a brand new financial system (can you say Mark of the Beast?). In today's post I want to spend some time talking about the collapse of the the petro dollar. Here is an article that goes into depth about what is going on "right now". Certainly we can say that the 1944 Bretton Wood agreement was pivotal in setting the stage for a phenomenal period of wealth creation. But the death of the dollar was set in place when Nixon removed the dollar from it's gold backing. The pin was removed from the train axle and the wheels are in the very process of coming off ! The video you just watched should confirm what you have known deep inside, the party is nearly over. Dire and dangerous days lay ahead and we all need to be preparing for our own survival. War in the Middle East looks unavoidable and the collapse of economies all over the globe is nearly certain. In my opinion, we are living in a time period just prior to the advent of the tribulation. I don't write these kinds of blog posts to frighten you but to warn you and urge you to make preparation. As I have mentioned before, the greatest preparation you can make for any calamity is to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. While we might indeed go through some very troubling times we will not experience the wrath of God in the tribulation or damnation in hell if we have placed our faith in Jesus as Savior. Death is coming to the dollar but life can be yours by trusting in Him!
For the ninth time in the last 13 months a major body of water has turned blood red. The Yangtze River in China has done just that, turning blood red on September 7th. You can read an official account and view pictures of this amazing event right here. The Yangtze is China's largest and longest river. If you took the time to read the MSN story you will notice they used the word "apocalyptic" which is being tossed around more and more by mainline news services. I believe these events are indeed pre-tribulational foreshadowings of what is to come on a far more dramatic scale. Here is the video that I want you to watch. Yeah, I know it's 19 minutes long but it contains information that is absolutely mind blowing. I will make some comments following the video that are equally mind blowing.
It's obvious, if you are honest, that neither Mitt Romney or President Obama has a clue as to handle this situation and neither of them present a budget that will even remotely deal with the coming Niagara Falls of woe that is just ahead. We are in a hopeless situation from a human perspective. We do not possess the solution to this disaster within the collective intelligence of all humanity. Soon, and I mean very soon, evil men are going to exploit this crisis. There is going to be a gigantic "re-set" of the global economy. The Bible calls it the "mark of the beast" in Revelation, the 13th chapter. I believe these evil men will advise the total erasure of all debt worldwide and the implementation of a new "digital" monetary system that will utilize RFID technology (aka the chip) in the right hand or foreheads of the global population. I could literally hear mouse clicks as this last sentence was read! People just don't believe the Bible and they don't believe it's all that bad and they don't believe that we are living in the shadow of Christ's return. But there are a few folks out there who do believe these things and I hope you are one of them. I have discussed these things with some of my fellow believers and we all wonder how we should prepare for the collapse. I think it would be good to get out of all personal debt if possible. I think it would be a good idea to store up some food, water and some precious metals. But all of these preparations just buy a little time when the bank holidays and riots occur. There it goes again, mouse clicks, I lost some more of you! Yeah, I believe these events are coming. But the only real lasting and effective measure that can be taken is to trust Christ as Savior. I know that this sounds simplistic and to some just plain delusional but I really believe it is the best course of action. Here is what Jesus said about accumulating wealth and neglecting your soul.

Knox (if it's still there) and you could hoard all the food at your local grocery store but if don't have Jesus you will lose all! These are scary times but they are exciting times if you are a believer in Christ.
The Democratic party will roll out their 2012 platform this week and it will lack a key component that has been a part of both party platforms for decades...recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. You can read more about their platform in this article. This is not so surprising if you truly believe the Bible. The Bible tells us that in the last days all nations will turn on Israel and the main contention will be the status of her capital.
‘For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.’ Zechariah 14:2
I have mentioned before that the Scriptures make no mistake in declaring that Jerusalem is uniquely God's city.
"...I have chosen Jerusalem for my Name to be there...." 2 Chronicles 6:6
Jerusalem is not Allah's city, not Confucius, not Buddha or any other so called gods. The Bible declares that things will get very desperate in Israel and Jerusalem and then the Lord Jesus Himself will come to their rescue. ‘Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east,’ Zechariah 14:3-4
The storm clouds of war are gathering for the world and especially for Israel. Obama has ordered a pull back of troops in cooperation with Israel and it is more and more apparent that Israel will have to go it alone against Iran and Russia (see Ezekiel 38 and 39). It will all happen just as God has foretold us in His Word. At the end of the day the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob will get all the glory for the rescue of Israel and the exaltation of Jerusalem as capital of His kingdom. We are at a pivotal time in history. So the question must be asked again, "Have you trusted Jesus as your Savior"? There is still time to trust in what He did on the cross to be sufficient payment for your sin. I urge you with a special sense of duty to make that decision quickly. We are rushing toward the climax of history.
Neil Armstrong died this past week in Cincinnati on August 25th. He was born August 5, 1930. He will be best remembered as the first man to walk on the moon. We will never forget those famous words "That's one small step for man and one giant leap for mankind". In fact, I can still remember lying on the floor in front of the television watching the whole amazing event. Armstrong was the quintessential "all American boy". He graduated from our nation's finest institutions, Purdue, M.I.T. and USC. He was a pilot for the U.S. Navy in the Korean conflict and an Eagle Scout. Mr. Armstrong had a life-long passion for Scouting and even had a Scout badge in his possession when he walked on the moon. While Neil Armstrong did many wonderful things and made the world a better place for a lot of people he may have neglected the most important matter in all the world...a belief in the Saviour, Jesus Christ. Armstrong defined his religous beliefs as those belonging to Deism, he said that he was a Deist. Here is a definition of Deism by gotanswers.com...
Deism is essentially the view that God exists, but that He is not directly involved in the world. Deism pictures God as the great “clockmaker” who created the clock, wound it up, and let it go. A deist believes that God exists and created the world, but does not interfere with His creation. Deists deny the Trinity, the inspiration of the Bible, the deity of Christ, miracles, and any supernatural act of redemption or salvation. Deism pictures God as ambivalent, uncaring, and uninvolved. Thomas Jefferson was a famous deist, referring often in his writings to “Providence.”
If indeed Armstrong actually held to these beliefs then he left this world totally unprepared for the next. His superior training and eduction qualified him for success on Earth but in Eternity there is only one action that has value and that is personal faith in Christ. Evidently Armstrong was a Deist because his own mother had serious doubts about his Christian faith. She was a devout Christian and was very concerned about his lack of Christian convictions.
"[Neil Armstrong's mother] wrote on October 27, 1969, to a Methodist minister in Iowa ... “but when he was a senior in high school, and even more in college, he began wondering about the truth of Jesus Christ. I felt sure he was praying less…. [Today] he is not teaching his own two fine sons about Jesus Christ. This fact causes a million swords to be pierced through my heart constantly.”"
Those are sad words aren't they? A "million swords" pierced through her heart. Oh that we had more mothers like her that have a heavy heart for the salvation of their children. We need moms and dads who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ to lead their children to believe on the Saviour!
There is little evidence to suggest that Neil Armstrong ever came to the same conclusion that Peter arrived at in Matthew 16 of the Holy Bible...
13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
Jesus is the Christ, the Savior, the Son of the living God. Only those who trust in Jesus as Savior will be re-united with their believing mother, father, sister, brother, wife, children and friends. Reader, you may have great life accomplishments and a grand resume but if you don't have Jesus you will have lost "all" at the day of your death. Come to Jesus, believe on His work on the cross and His resurrection from the dead. Do it now!
