I continue to read about bizarre occurrences of large bodies of water turning to blood red. These are not isolated events but are systematically happening all over the world. What is God trying to tell us?
Perhaps He is reminding us of the blood that is on our hands as we continue unrelentingly with wars, abortions and murder. Americans seem blind to their own blood lust when they point accusing fingers at countries like Syria. We are in no position to look down on any nation. We have been roaming to and fro over the whole world "intervening" in the affairs of other countrys. We kill 1.5 million babies in the womb annually. The murder rates in our major cities is astounding.
Perhaps He is warning us of our rejection of the blood of His dear Son. Christ Jesus shed his innocent blood on the cross to be payment for our sins and yet most of the world rejects His offer of pardon and redemption. These are just some of my thoughts today as I reflect on world events.
