The Latest On Fukushima Nuclear Plant And The Human Condition!

U.S. Senator Ron Wyden, Oregon, recently traveled to Japan to check up on the latest developments with the nuclear plant saga. You can read about it right here. The news is not good and depending on who you are listening to it might even be catastrophic. According to this report the radiation levels from Fukushima are much higher than originally disclosed.
The most startling thing I have read concerning the on-going disaster is from this blog The writer contends that reactor #4 is on the verge of total collapse. It contains over 1500 fuel rods containing 6% plutonium that could be totally exposed. Just one rod has the capability of killing 2.89 billion people.  The radioactive particles are traveling all over the earth. Iodine, cesium, strontium, plutonium, uranium, and a host of other fission products have been coming directly from Japan to the west coast for thirteen months.Even the pollen in California is radioactive!
Who knows how much damage will be caused by this disaster as it could take up to 50 years to decommission these reactors! How much influence have these reactors cast upon the multitudes of dead fish and birds all over the planet? We may never know. I believe these events are end times events.
I look at Fukushima and I am reminded of the human condition. While Fukushima is a real mess and may take decades to fix the human condition is terminal and will last for eternity! The penalty for unforgiven sin is eternal damnation. I know that this concept is no longer accepted and believed by much of the apostate church today but I am old fashioned enough to just believe the Bible.

Matthew 25:45-46

King James Version (KJV)
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

The coverage of this terminal sin condition is global and all inclusive.

Romans 5:12

King James Version (KJV)
12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

The effect of sin is universal, terminal and eternal. It's a far bigger disaster than Fukushima but unlike the radioactive peril there is a fix to the human condition.

1 Corinthians 15

King James Version (KJV)
15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

If you will place your faith and trust in what Christ did on the cross 2000 years ago you can be forgiven of every sin you ever committed or will commit. You can have eternal life and be eternally safe in the place He has provided for His own. Have you believed on Jesus? Who Won Survivor? No One!

Kimberly Spradlin:  Latest Survivor Winner
Last night I did a little cyber surfing on over to a site called www.search.com.  This site tabulates the search results for all major search engines and gives a read out on the top 50 most searched terms for the day. I know, I need to get a life! I was amazed to see that on May 16th the word "survivor" was found in 8 of the top 50 searches. Of course, the word survivor is a reference to the TV reality show Survivor, in fact, "who won survivor" was one of the top searches. Here is the list ..survivor one world cast, survivor, survivor winner, survivor application, survivor 25, survivor full episodes, who won survivor and survivor fan favorites.
I found it truly amazing that 8 of the top 50 searches on the internet had to do with a TV show! Survivor has been airing in the United States since February of 2004. On any given night there are 20 to 30 million people viewing! You already know that I believe we are living in the last days so I found it even more interesting that the latest episode was Survivor:  One World! CBS really had a great idea when they came up with this idea and no doubt they have made a lot of money with it as well.
But I began to think about this phenomenon from a spiritual perspective and I wanted to share my thoughts about the word survivor. As a people we must be very curious about this concept. But how many people are concerned about their own spiritual survival? It seems to me that more people devote time to watching a meaningless TV show then they do to secure their own eternal survival.
From a Biblical point of view I could ask the question "Who won survivor?" the answer is no one!

1 Corinthians 15:21-23

King James Version (KJV)
21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

 The Apostle Paul wrote these words under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and they are profound. In Adam all die. Every one who comes into this world is born "in Adam". That means you inherited the curse and penalty of Adam's sin in the garden. You inherited Adam's inclination to sin. Because of our catastrophic link to Adam we are doomed to die physically and spiritually, there are no survivors..."all die".
But this same passage of Scripture mentions another important person, Jesus Christ. The same passage says that all who are in Christ shall be made alive! That is great news to a bunch of people who are doomed. We can become a survivor by being in Christ. But what does "in Christ" mean? It simply means that all of those who have placed their faith in Jesus are no longer identified with Adam and death but are now related to Christ and have inherited eternal life! I became a believer in Jesus Christ as my Savior at the young age of 11. At that moment I became a survivor! I will one day leave this existence and enter into the place that He has prepared for me (see John 14:1-6).
The question is which "man" do you identify with...Adam or Christ? Who are you in? You can settle the survivor question right now, trust Christ as your Savior and Redeemer! Watch the short vid in the right sidebar.

The Hunger Games Deception And Predictive Programming

Just the other day I was visiting with a relative of mine who professes to be a Christian. He gave a glowing review of his experience in reading the entire trilogy of the The Hunger Games. In the last 15 yeas I have become hardened to the shock value of hearing such a confession. Just think of the millions of Christians who watched and read all the Harry Potter they could get their hands on. The Potter material was just a prolonged primer on witchcraft and the occultic arts.Think about the multitudes that flocked to the Twilight movies and read the books which were little more than a big dose of occult and vampire themes. We are being programmed for the coming Evil One, the end of days and the Great Tribulation. Our pulpits are more concerned with personal empires and "worship styles" than the signs of the times and the return of the King of Kings. There is an emphasis on the "purpose driven life" rather than prepared life waiting anxiously for the days just ahead.
I am not going to spend a lot of time elaborating on the Hunger Games because there has already been some really good work done on this present wicked series of books and movies. Here are some materials to catch you up just in case you missed the evil train.

The Hunger Games is just another attempt by the elite media to shape minds, through predictive programming, to accept the incredible days that lie before us. Here is an excellent article on the subject of predictive programming. I find it hard to accept that Christians are reading and watching such dangerous material. But I also find it hard to accept that so many Christians are asleep to the signs that are all around us that Christ's return is close at hand. The story of The Hunger Games takes place in a post-apocalyptic country called "Panem". Interestingly, that name means "bread and circuses". That is a fitting name considering modern day America exemplifies the bread and circus mentality. The Apostle Paul told a young Timothy what men would be like in the last days.

.

2 Timothy 3:12-14

King James Version (KJV)
12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

So I must accept the reality that there will be no "coming to our senses" as a society. Men will "wax worse and worse" until the King returns. Until then we must be about His business of warning men and compelling them to come to Christ.
