Are We In The Tribulation? End Times Prophecy Timeline Explained!

There are many people on youtube and various websites that proclaim that we are in the tribulation, the 7 years of God's wrath poured out on planet Earth. If you have been wondering the same thing then let me put your mind at ease. The answer to the question is a profound "NO"! Sometimes you run across a particularly talented teacher and I did this evening, his name is Scott Clarke and he goes by his youtube moniker "eternalrhythmflow". I have included his teaching in a video below. I love his use of Clarence Larkin's Dispensational Charts and his clear teaching of end times prophecy timelines from the book of Daniel and Matthew that leave no doubt that while we are very close to the tribulation starting point we are definitely not in that dreadful time. I encourage you to watch his entire teaching. He will touch on the lunar solar tetrads and how they indicate that really big events are going to happen in the national life of Israel in the next several months. No, we are not in the tribulation but Friend it is getting very late! Don't put off trusting Christ as your Savior and think that you can gauge the time just right and believe on Him at the last moment. That would be extremely dangerous and foolish. Don't think you are going to have tomorrow to believe on Christ because you might die tonite! Trust Jesus as your Savior right now!
If you are a Christian and have been troubled by teachers on youtube like 9nania and ppsimmons who are broadcasting their errors that we are well into the tribulation period then know that you aren't the first to be "troubled" by these false teachings. Notice what Paul told the believers  in 2 Thessalonians 2 ...
Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
Indeed it would be troubling and it would greatly shake my soul to actually believe that we are living in the tribulation. Take comfort in this fabulous teaching and get serious about sharing Christ with lost loved ones and friends.

This SNL Skit About Jesus Is A Dreadful Precursor To Judgment!

Saturday Night Live skits in the last 10 years have not been funny. Gone are the days of Gilda Radner and Chevy Chase.  The SNL skit "DJesus Uncrossed" was certainly not funny it was shameful and blasphemous. I will not include the link to this video that was posted on February 17th and has already logged over 325,000 views. It seems that men and women in these last moments of this age of grace have a voracious appetite for the unholy and irreverent. The Bible predicted that these times would come.

2 Timothy 3:1-3
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good

It is amazing that our television and movie screens are not filled with blasphemies against Buddha, Mohammed, Confucius, Krishna or any other of the myriad of false gods that men of created in the last 2000 years. We wouldn't want to offend anyone would we? But all restraints are removed when it comes to rank blasphemy concerning the one true God, Jesus Christ. Men don't even blink when they drag that precious name through their arrogant filth. Jesus, the King of Glory, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Savior, Redeemer, Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. There is no fear of God, no reverence for His name and no thought that judgment is on it's way.

Romans 1:18
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Revelation 15:1
And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.

In America we have been so blessed to have ready proclamation of the good news of the forgiveness of sins in Jesus Christ. Yet, we have slowly but surely drifted from the shore of His Word and His Ways. We are a perverse, murderous, immoral, ungodly nation that finds entertainment in mocking God's greatest demonstration of His love! What is left for us as a people? Judgment without remedy! When Christ returns there will be no stopping the deluge of His wrath. The laughing and sneers will disappear and men will seek escape through death but will not be able to find it.

Revelation 9:6
And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

Dear Reader, time is short. The Bridegroom will soon return for His Bride. Do you know Jesus as your Savior? Have you placed your trust in what He did for you on the cross? I urge you to watch the short video in the sidebar "How To Be Forgiven In 3 Minutes". I also encourage you to read some of the material on this site but most of all I ask that you believe on Christ while you still have opportunity. If you have a question or comment feel free to contact me, my contact info is in the top right corner of this site.

Finally, as I wrote this post and grieved over my country's descent into Hell I was reminded that the anniversary of the sinking of Titanic is coming up in April. The eight man band played their music right up till the end and the final selection was "Nearer My God To Thee". I think it is appropriate to include that hymn instrumental in this article.

How To Get Forgiveness From God -Good News, It Isn't Rocket Science!

A couple of weeks ago I had the privilege of receiving a phone call from one of my outstanding grand-daughters (I have four!). She wanted to discuss the subject of "how to get forgiveness from God" and we had a wonderful discussion. By the end of our conversation she had come to believe on and trust in the Lord Jesus as her own Savior. I had another opportunity a week later to discuss what the Bible says about assurance of salvation with her and talk about the subject of baptism. I praise God for her decision.
Did you know that every month 46 people in the world type in the exact phrase "how to get forgiveness from God" on Google? I don't know about other major search engines but Google's tools are pretty accurate and it breaks my heart that for most of those 46 people they had to go to the internet to search for an answer. Most of them did not have a believer to personally share the Word of God and explain how God forgives sinners.
Here are some bullet points of general information that the Bible tells us about how we can be made right with God and gain eternal life.

  • Understand that all men are sinners including you! (Romans 3:10; 3:23; Isaiah 64:6; Jeremiah 17:9; James 2:10)
  • Understand that the penalty for sin is death. (Romans 6:23; Ezekiel 18:20)
  • Understand that you must be perfect to enter Heaven.  (Revelation 21:27; Habakkuk 1:13; Psalm 5:4)
  • Understand that you can do nothing of yourself to be perfect.
    (Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 2:16; Romans 4:5)
  • Understand that God has provided a Savior and imputes His righteousness to our account. (II Corinthians 5:21; Philippians 3:9; Isaiah 53:6; I Peter 3:18)
  • Understand that man needs only belief in the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior to be saved. (John 3:16; Romans 10:9-10; John 1:12; Acts 16:31)
  • Understand that you can know you are saved and forgiven and that you can never lose this blessed state.  (John 6:37-39; 10:28; I Peter 1:5; Hebrews 10:10-14; I John 5:13)
Now the information I just shared is only a guide but here is a prince of preachers, Dr. Ralph Arnold who will explain this very simply. I love this man and he blesses me every time I listen to him. I hope he answers your question about forgiveness of your sins.

You can get forgiveness from God right now. The Bible stresses the need for immediate action. We simply don't know what the next hour holds and if you feel the call to trust Christ as Savior do it now. 2 Corinthians 6:2 says "For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation". Trust Christ and experience the peace of knowing you are forgiven.
