There Is Proof The Bible Is True - End Time Prophecy Is Being Fulfilled!

2 Peter 1:19 says:   "We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:"

The proof of the validity of the Bible's claims is found in ancient prophecies that are being fulfilled at this very moment in history. Bible prophecy is happening so fast right now that it is hard to keep up with all the events. Here are some things that are of particular interest as we move forward: #1 the pope's unusual resignation (hasn't happened in six centures!), #2 the soon visit of Barack Hussein Obama to Israel to pressure the Jews to part the land, #3 unusual weather (Sandy and Nemo),  #4 escalating earthquakes, #5 mass animal deaths (Iceland's recent 20 million dollar herring apocalypse), #5 the typical church doesn't want to hear about current events and signs of the times, #6 global financial collapse and #7 a global clamor for "peace and security" are all signs that Christ's return is on the door step. Bro. Gallups asks an important question at the end of the video. He asks "Don't you think it's time to be reconciled to God?". I would ask you to truthfully answer his question. It is time to get right with God because soon His wrath will hit this planet like a sledge hammer and none will escape the force of it.

You cannot prepare for the days ahead by "cleaning up your act" or any other self improvement attempt. You must recognize that you are a sinner (repent = change of mind) and you must believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as your own Savior. I have to believe that you have sensed in your heart that we are living in very troubled time and weird events are happening daily. Don't gamble with your eternal state, trust Jesus today.

Forgiveness Cannot Be Found In Catholicism But Catholics Can Be Forgiven!

If you have been reading my blog posts for any length of time then you know that I believe in the absolute free grace of God found only through faith alone in Christ alone. If you are trusting in the saving work of Jesus Christ on the cross to be sufficient payment for your sins then you are saved, born again, justified, sanctified and soon to be glorified! But this is not what the Catholic church has been teaching for centuries.
In 1544 the Roman Catholic church formulated a doctrinal statement of beliefs called the Council of Trent. To this day the Catholic church has never refuted the position of that council.  In Canon 9 of this document they make the following statement concerning those like myself who teach and believe in "faith alone" in Christ alone.

CANON 9:  "If any one saith, that by faith alone the impious is justified; in such wise as to mean, that nothing else is required to co-operate in order to the obtaining the grace of Justification, and that it is not in any way necessary, that he be prepared and disposed by the movement of his own will; let him be anathema." 

1. "Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin," (Rom. 3:20).
2. "Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus," (Rom. 3:24).
3. "Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law," (Rom. 3:28).
4. "For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness," (Rom. 4:3).
5. "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ," (Rom. 5:1).
6. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God," (Eph. 2:8).
7. "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost," (Titus 3:5).

Clearly, the Catholic church does not believe that a man, woman, boy or girl can be saved by simply believing on Jesus. But can the Catholic church, which is riddled with false doctrine and false teachers, be trusted when it comes to the most important thing in all the world (your eternal destiny)?
I don't think so. I urge you to keep an open mind and listen to the following former Catholic in this video which has had nearly 28,000 views in the last two years!

This man clearly believes that he is saved because he repented (realized he was a lost sinner) and believed on the Lord Jesus Christ as his own Savior. I was so blessed as I watched this video that I just felt that I had to share it on this site. Time is short, chances are running out to find forgiveness in the person and work of Christ. If you are trapped in the mire of Catholicism you can find forgiveness. Recognized that you are on the wrong path, acknowledge that you are a wretched sinner and believe in Christ to save you. Omar Henry, Boxer, Christian - Now Training In Heaven's Gym

Omar Henry died early this morning after a valiant fight with stage 4 gall bladder cancer. He will be remembered by most of the world as a fabulous amateur light middleweight boxer who had aspirations of reaching stardom in the professional ranks.
Henry's amateur career was indeed special as he amassed a spectacular 60 win, 5 loss record. He was a four time Texas Golden Glove champ and a National Golden Glove quarter finalist. His professional career was short lived because of his illness but was showing glimpses of greatness. He signed a contract with Don King and he won 10 of his first 12 fights with first round knockouts. One of his last boxing accomplishments was to serve as a sparring partner for Floyd Merriweather Jr. in March of 2012. The late fall diagnosis of cancer was battled courageously by Henry. He spent three months in the University of Chicago Hospital. Omar Henry was 25 and he Tweeted a month ago that he hoped to make it to his 26th birthday but he was unable to make it a reality. Omar would of turned 26 a week from today.
Omar will be remembered by boxing enthusiasts as one of the most promising prospects to come along in several years. But death is always an unwelcome visitor. The Bible tells us that Omar Henry and everyone of us have an appointment with death.

While boxing enthusiasts will remember the boxer I want to honor Omar the Christian. Just a few weeks ago in the midst of a brave fight against cancer and aware of his fate he made a revealing Tweet to his fans. You can read it here  Omar was praising his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in his last days here on earth. I always feel joy and relief when I hear of the saving faith of a departed celeb or athlete. Sometimes I get to thinking that the world is void of believers but I know that the Lord has multitudes of His children who are faithfully following Him and awaiting His arrival. Omar is truly training in God's gym now, I look forward to meeting him soon.
